I'm Jose Narvaez, a Senior Java Cloud Developer and Technical Lead in Aguascalientes, Mexico. I have over 15 years of experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native systems in mission-critical, enterprise environments: I was the technical authority for the Database Migration Service (DMS) on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, orchestrating large-scale migrations of 500–5,000+ databases, and I have led backend, frontend and QA teams on high-traffic platforms.

Outside of work, I run a real homelab on Proxmox with containers and self-hosted Docker services, and I connect the physical world with software: home automation and IoT projects built with ESP32 and ESPHome. Tinkering with it all without breaking the house — and learning from every outage — is how I keep improving as an engineer.
